Minea vs Dropispy: one infrastructure, two different ad databases
Pick Dropispy for cheap Facebook ad search: €29.90 a month, and in our October 14 test it held newer Gymshark and Manscaped ads than Minea. Pick Minea at $49 for Shopify product research, not for a competitor’s latest campaign.

Minea vs Dropispy side by side
Both sell Facebook ad search to dropshippers, and both come from the same technical base, so the useful question is not which has more features but which has the ads you need. The table below mixes what each vendor states with what we saw on our own paid accounts on 14 October 2026; the source is named in each row.

Same servers, different ads
Dropispy and Minea share infrastructure. Dropispy’s app requests its ad data from minea-prod-api.dropispy.com, and the video links on its ad cards point to media-cdn.minea.com, Minea’s media server. Neither site says who owns the other, and they are sold as separate products with separate prices.
Shared servers did not mean shared ads. On October 14, 2026 we searched both for the same two brands by page name and sorted by date. In Dropispy the newest Gymshark posts were from 9 and 5 October; in Minea the newest Gymshark ad was published on 11 September, although Minea counts 4,121 active ads on the Gymshark page.
Manscaped split the two even more clearly. Dropispy listed Manscaped’s own ads, the newest posted on 11 October. Minea returned no Manscaped ads at all, only other pages that mention the brand. Two brands are a small sample: test your own competitors in both before paying.

What Dropispy is better at
Dropispy is the cheaper way in. Premium costs €29.90 a month inside the app and includes advanced filters, audience metrics, the shop spy tool and 150,000 credits; Business at €249.90 adds 1,800,000 credits and API access.
It also measured faster in our earlier test of the same brands: across 71 ads Dropispy added new posts a median of 3 days after they went up, and 24 on the same day. It covers Facebook only, and its free plan is narrow: it hides the last two months of ads and locks keyword, page name and country search.
What Minea is better at
Minea is built for finding a product rather than following a rival. Starter at $49 opens Meta ads and a product library the app describes as “10M+ e-commerce Shopify products”, plus 10 AI ad analyses and 50 image searches a month. Premium at $99 adds shops, an unlimited brand tracker and daily niche lists.
Minea quotes several sizes for itself: “80M+ active ads” on its home page, “more than 10 million ads” on its pricing page and “100+ million ads to discover” inside the app. Its TikTok tab exists, but on our Starter account it asked for an upgrade, and the pricing page still marks TikTok ads as coming soon. Do not buy it for the newest ads of a known competitor.

Are Minea and Dropispy the same company?
